  • When & where is the MDBF? +

    October 5-8th, 2017. All activities start and end at the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce, 341 N. Alexander Street, Mount Dora, FL.
  • What is the cost of the MDBF? +

    Early Bird pricing: $150 - After August 01: $175.
  • What is included when I register? +

    TREK & David's World Cycle Appreciation Thursday ride & events, choice of rides Friday, Saturday & Sunday, custom designed Hincapie festival jersey with each registration, breakfast every morning at selected local restaurants, Saturday post-ride lunch & beer garden, Saturday evening Concert in the Park featuring The Wailers, fully supported rides & rest stops, roving SAG every day, medals for every rider, Vendor Village, & much more! Available additional option: Friday evening Wine Pairing Dinner at Pisces Rising and Saturday evening Wine Pairing Dinner at 1921 by Norman Van Aken. Purchase available during registration.
  • Is the MDBF for riders of all levels? What kinds of bikes are allowed? +

    We want to celebrate all things cycling: no matter how fast or slow or what kind of bike you ride. We have had tandems, hand-cycles, road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids, cruisers and recumbent bikes on our routes. Racing is not allowed, as this is a weekend of riding. Only those with MDBF wristbands & bib numbers will be allowed to start the rides, enjoy the Rest Stops, SAG help and post-ride celebrations.
  • What is the Back 2 Back Century Challenge? +

    This challenge includes 100 miles both Friday and Saturday. The first 100 guests to register for this challenge will receive a custom B2BCC heavy medal.
  • Do I have to wear my number & wristband? +

    YES!!! For your safety. Your wristband & number bib are not only your ticket to enjoy supported rides but also for SAG support, rest stop food/drink, Saturday lunch & Beer Garden, Concert in the Park, merchant discounts & specials, your finisher's medal, and in the rare event that you get lost or need medical attention!. For your assured safety, we will be having wristband checks in the start and festival area prior to each ride.
  • How do I get swag? +

    A custom Hincapie 2017 MDBF cycling jersey is included with each registration, (register prior to Aug. 22 to receive at festival, others will be mailed post festival), You can order additional custom MDBF jersey at the Hincapie booth in our Vendor Village. MDBF socks & cycling caps will be available at check-in.
  • Are the roads closed for this event? +

    Only N. Alexander Street is closed for the start / finish line. All other roads are open to traffic, so be careful as you ride.
  • Where can we park in downtown Mount Dora? +

    Click here for a map of public parking in the town. Come early to find the best parking. Additional parking will be available at Mount Dora High School, 700 N. Highland Street.
  • Refund Policy +

    This is a rain or shine event. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. We encourage you to consider and shop around for “Travel Cancellation” insurance. Many companies offer this type of insurance. Travel insurance should typically cover registration fees in addition to the cost of flight, and hotels. Food Info

  • Will breakfast be served? +

    YES! New this year is your included breakfast each morning 6:00am - 8:00am at selected nearby restaurants. Friday & Sunday mornings are at both Olive Branch Italian Mediterranean Grille and The Pineapple Place. Saturday morning will be at Pisces Rising. All are located just steps away from the Starting area. You will be given tokens in your swag bag.
  • Will there be post-ride food? +

    Saturday only. Lunch will be served 11am-4pm by Olive Branch Mediterranean Italian Grille. You will be given a token in your swag bag.
  • Will there be other food options? +

    New this year: European insprired Wine Pairing Dinner at Pisces Rising on Friday evening and Fall inspired Wine Pairing Dinner at 1921 by Norman Van Aken on Saturday evening. Both are limited seating. Dinner tickets must be purchased during Registration. Guests can also enjoy special pricing at many local restaurants with their MDBF wristbands.
